Easy 220V plug controlled by Flyport

Posted by openPicus | On: Nov 03 2011

Antoine from Giga-Concept developed this application with FlyPort. The relay does all the job, as you can see on the picture bellow:

    · When the pin d1out of the Flyport is OFF, the relay is open so the 220 couldn’t pass through it.

    · When d1out is ON, the relay is switched and the 200 can go from 1 to 2.

I use a transistor connected to the +5 because the output voltage on the d1out was not enough to switch the relay. So the d1out switch the transistor which switch the relay, said Antoine.

The load can be easily turned on and off via the Flyport webserver, using a very simple page.

There is an API to make “Switch ON” by Curl Library from another location??
